Qualifications

• 1 year of general endoscopy and a minimum of 6 months in bronchoscopy experience is required.
• Must pass the SGNA Associates Program online course within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card

Responsibilities

• Manages the administrative and clinical duties of the GI procedure room and assists physicians in all types of general endoscopic procedures, GI function diagnostic tests and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Ensures quality, efficiency and safety in the performance of technical work, the immediate post-procedure care of patients and in the proper handling of supplies and equipment
