Southcoast Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The role involves assisting physicians with endoscopic procedures in an acute care setting, under the supervision of the Patient Care Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
• Operating Room experience preferred; Basic Medical Terminology required.
• Understand sterile technique and sterilization processes; fiber optics knowledge.
• Three to five years experience recommended.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with a variety of endoscopic procedures.
• Provide technical services and support in an acute patient care environment.
• Work under supervision of the Manager, Patient Care Services or designee.
