Temple Health – Temple University Health System is hiring an Endoscopy Technician in Philadelphia. The technician works under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure patient care and safety, assists with case preparation, and helps prepare the room to match the procedure and physician preferences.

The role requires BLS certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally 1 year of OR or procedural experience. A surgical technology program is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of accredited surgical technology program is preferred.
• 1 year of procedural or operating room experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Mansioni

• Care and safety of patients under the guidance of the registered nurse, including case preparation and assisting with patient preparation.
• Proper handling of instruments, supplies and equipment; prepare the room based on the specific procedure and physician's preference, and anticipate the physician's needs.
