Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technician program (required).
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Maintains CPR, TST and Education certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Performs clinical care in the pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure and post‑procedure phases of the patient’s endoscopy procedure.
• Participates in the patient’s plan of care under direction of RN.
• Assumes responsibility for the operation, care and handling of the endoscopy scope and instrumentation.
