Temple-Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support patient care, instrument handling, and room setup under the supervision of a registered nurse. This full-time, day-shift role participates in procedure workflows within the operating suite.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent; surgical technology education is preferred, and one year of experience in a procedural or OR setting is desirable. Basic Life Support is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology preferred.
• 1 year experience in a procedural or operating room preferred.

Responsabilidades

• The Endoscopy Technician, under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients under his/her care.
• Case preparation, assisting with patient preparation, proper handling of instruments supplies and equipment.
• Preparation of the room based upon the specific procedure and physician's preference, and anticipating the physician's needs.
