Job summary

8100 ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support physicians and RNs during endoscopic procedures, ensuring instrument readiness and sterile technique. You will manage supplies, monitor equipment, and contribute to patient safety in a fast-paced GI/endoscopy setting.

The role requires high school graduation and preference for prior surgical or GI experience; BLS certification is required, GI Specialist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• Experience in Surgical or GI setting preferred.
• GI technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and RN during endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP).
• Ensure proper supply and instrument management by checking daily schedule for patients of all ages.
• Maintain sterile field and address breaks in sterile technique during procedures.
