Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Naperville, IL is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for days with 6:30am–5:30pm shifts and 10-hour option, including on-call nights, weekends and holidays. The role supports GI procedure turnover, assists in endoscopic procedures, and ensures sterile equipment and supplies are ready for physician and nurse teams.

Requirements include HS diploma, CPR, and 1+ year endoscopy/healthcare experience. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of Endoscopy, surgical tech, or healthcare-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the GI area and patients for procedures under supervision.
• Coordinates procedures with RN for efficient turnaround of procedure rooms.
• Provides technical support to physician and nurse in assigned rooms.
• Ensures aseptic cleaning of equipment and stocks routine supplies.
• Assists in Endoscopic procedures as directed and performs related clerical duties.
