Job summary

Endeavor Health's Elmhurst location is seeking an Endoscopy Technician/Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a GI/endoscopy unit. The role runs full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m., with on-call requirements including days, nights, and holidays. Key responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, planning and evaluating care, delegating tasks, and collaborating with care teams to meet unit goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree in nursing or higher
• Current State of Illinois RN license
• CPR (BLS) certification
• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• PALS within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Funtions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
