LowCountry Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist in endoscopic procedures under the direct supervision of a surgeon. You will help operate and troubleshoot equipment, prepare the procedure room, and ensure the availability of sterile supplies to support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes, coordinating patient flow, stocking materials, and performing clerical tasks as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of GI Lab experience preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Mansioni

• Operate equipment during endoscopic procedures under surgeon supervision.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare the procedure room.
• Stock supplies, order materials, and perform clerical tasks.

LowCountry Endoscopy Center is hiring an Endoscopy Tech

GI Tech at Low Country Endoscopy Center

The GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab preferred
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred
