Tri-State Endoscopy Center is hiring a Full Time Endoscopy Technician to join United Surgical Partners International in Cincinnati, OH. The technician will support GI and PAIN management procedures, prep and maintain GI equipment, and assist in Preop and Recovery while ensuring a clean, organized GI lab environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to center policies, with weekday hours and no holidays or weekend calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or better.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of OR and GI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and anticipate physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
• Assist physician on all GI procedures and document intra-procedure notes.
• Oversee GI procedure area and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist in Preop and Recovery, turnover of bays, and basic patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking in the GI lab and OR areas.

Tri-State Endoscopy Center, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our esteemed team.

Endoscopy Tech at Tri-State Endoscopy Center is responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes. Assist physician on all GI procedures. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy. Assists in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking

Position requires weekdays only --no holidays, weekends, or call.Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus
• Current BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment
• Must be able to function as a team player
• Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal
