Job summary

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center Cypress is hiring an Endoscopy Tech to assist with endoscopic procedures and equipment operation. The technician will help clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes, support patient flow, and manage room turnover.

This is a weekday-only role with competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. Under direct supervision of a surgeon, you will work with physicians and nurses as a team to ensure optimal conditions for procedures at the ASC location.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred two years’ experience in endoscopy.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of endoscopic equipment during procedures.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain endoscopes and related instrumentation.
• Facilitate patient flow and room turnover; stock procedure rooms and assist with clerical duties.

We are Hiring for a Endoscopy Tech for our growing GI Center!

Location: Endoscopy Center / Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

Endoscopy Tech at Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center Cypress

The GI technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
