HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms, assist teams, and help protect patient safety while delivering compassionate care.

No experience is required and Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the start date. The role offers comprehensive benefits within a leading healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order and keeping supplies organized and stocked.
• Help position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself.
• Support physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and keep accurate records for quality and safety.
• Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked
