M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for an Endoscopy Technician to join our team at University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank! The Endoscopy Technician is an integral part of the GI team within the Endoscopy department who under the guidance and direction of the nursing team or physician accomplishes a variety of delegated nursing assistive tasks such as equipment and supply set-up, assisting with collection of specimens, cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and scopes, exam room prep and clean-up including the documentation of cleaning and disinfection processes. They will complete direct patient care duties to ensure optimal patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience within the OR.
This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position with an on-call rotation. This role will predominantly work day shift, but may move to some evenings if hour needs change. Weekends as needed.
