Park Nicollet is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the Endoscopy team, supporting infection control, equipment maintenance, and supply management. The role involves assisting with room setup, patient transfer, and coordinating with nurses and technicians to ensure smooth procedure flow.

Shifted work includes 10-hour days with rotating start times and weekend on-call coverage, with duties spanning Burnsville, St. Louis Park, and Maple Grove locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
• Ability to work as part of a team with patience, mature judgment, sound reasoning and courtesy.
• Preferred: Previous healthcare experience with medical equipment.
• Certification as a CER through HSPA is preferred.
• Anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Medical Terminology knowledge.
• Infection Control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, disinfects, and maintains endoscopic equipment and accessories.
• Maintains infection control and a clean, safe Endoscopy Department environment.

Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Endoscopy Technical to join our Endoscopy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

The Endoscopy Technician cleans, disinfects, and maintains endoscopic equipment and accessories to assure proper functioning and infection control, while maintaining a clean, safe environment in all areas of the Endoscopy Department. This position assists with ordering and stocking Endoscopy supplies and equipment. This staff member aids in maintaining Endoscopy procedure flow by assisting with room set‑up, patient transfer, room turnover and other duties as delegated under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Lead Endoscopy Technician.

Work Schedule

Endoscopy Technician Specialists work 10‑hour shifts with rotating start times of 6:30 a.m., 7:00 a.m., and 7:30 a.m. Technicians are also assigned rotating late‑stay shifts to support end‑of‑day coverage and closing responsibilities. Specialists will rotate between the Burnsville and St. Louis Park locations as part of their regular schedule and may be assigned to the Maple Grove location as needed. Weekend on‑call coverage is required and assigned on a rotating basis.

  • Certification as a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
