Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopic procedures at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role involves assisting physicians, demonstrating sterile technique, and providing technical support in a fast-paced care setting.

Under general supervision, you will contribute to patient care by applying basic medical terminology, CPR-certified skills, and experience in the operating room environment.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
• Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.
• Basic Medical Terminology is required.
• Must be able to understand and be knowledgeable of the principles of sterile technique, sterilization process, etc.
• Knowledge of fiber optics required.
• Three years and up to five years' experience required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

We are searching for a talented Endoscopy Technician

Hours: 24 flex 32hrs

Shift: Day shift, Variable start time 7:00am - 9:30am with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday)

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
