Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role supports endoscopic procedures and patient care in a day-shift schedule with on-call rotation. Regular status employees working at least 24 hours are eligible.

Qualifications include a high school diploma with specialized training, sterile technique knowledge, and 3–5 years of experience, plus CPR certification and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
• Previous Operating Room experience preferred.
• Basic Medical Terminology is required.
• Must understand sterile technique and sterilization processes.
• Knowledge of fiber optics is required.
• Three to five years of experience.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures in an acute patient care environment.
• Provide technical services and support under supervision.
• Demonstrate clinical skills during endoscopy procedures.

We are searching for a talented Endoscopy Technician

Hours: 24 flex 32hrs

Shift: Day shift, Variable start time 7:00am - 9:30am with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday)

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties including providing technical services or support. Assist physicians with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including demonstrating clinical skills in an acute patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
• Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.
• Basic Medical Terminology is required.
• Must be able to understand and be knowledgeable of the principles of sterile technique, sterilization process, etc.
• Knowledge of fiber optics required.
• Three years and up to five years' experience required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $17.66 - USD $29.70 /Hr.
