Job summary

Midwest Physicians Surgery Center is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join our team. The GI technician works under a surgeon to assist with endoscopic procedures, maintain endoscopes, and support efficient patient flow in a busy procedure room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred two years’ experience in endoscopy.
• BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of endoscopic equipment under supervision.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain endoscopes and related instrumentation.
• Facilitate patient flow and room turnover in procedure areas.
• Stock procedure rooms and order supplies.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
