Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health in Minnesota is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician or related role to support the Endoscopy Center. You will perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, reprocessing, and prepare scopes for transport.

The role requires attention to infection prevention, teamwork, and multitasking, with duties including stocking supplies, assisting nursing staff, and documentation. The position offers a starting hourly wage in the $20–23 range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with equipment cleaning and reprocessing or experience as a Sterile Processing Technician is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Turn around procedure rooms: set up and take down.
• Trouble shoot endoscopes in the procedure room as needed.
• Clean and high level disinfect endoscopes.
• Clean, high level disinfect or sterilize accessory equipment.
• Stock supplies for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed.
• Prepare scope for transport.
• Help clean and make beds in recovery as needed.
• Assist nursing staff and physicians as needed.
• Operation and maintenance of endoscopy equipment as directed.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Understand and follow infection prevention processes.
• Documentation as necessary in appropriate log sheets.
