Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The role supports endoscopy procedures, maintains sterile instruments, and participates in safety and quality initiatives within a patient-centered care environment.

You will assist with procedure preparation, equipment handling, and post-procedure cleaning while upholding the organization’s mission and core values of clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior Experience as a GI Tech preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Function as an assistive person during endoscopy procedures by protecting the patient from injury and ensuring safety.
• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and follow procedures for reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and accessories in working order. Troubleshoots and recognizes malfunctions.
• Prepare and clean equipment for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Ensure scopes are prepared for use in accordance with policies and manufacturer instructions.
