Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• GI Tech experience preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures and protect patients.
• Ensure patient safety and equipment operation per policy.
• Prepare sterile supplies and assist the endoscopist.
• Maintain sterile field and decontaminate instruments.
• Communicate effectively with the team and participate in safety huddles.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing training.
