Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks an Endoscopy support professional to assist under the supervision of RNs and nursing leadership. You will help provide patient comfort, observe responses, and relay data to the supervising nurse to ensure safe endoscopy care.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification. Preferred candidates have hands-on endoscopy experience and strong teamwork skills in an ambulatory care setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to work under clinical supervision and collaborate with nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the provider, nursing leadership and/or a Registered Nurse, performs a variety of nursing care functions within Endoscopy.
• Implements actions as assigned to provide support and comfort to patient needs and observes the patient while communicating pertinent data to the RN.
• Participates in teamwork to ensure safe patient care and smooth endoscopy workflow.
