The role involves interpreting results, monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized lab area and supplies. BLS certification is required within 30 days; endoscopy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree required.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

• Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.
• Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

Department: Endoscopy

Location: Henry Ford Rochester - 1101 W University Drive Rochester, MI 48307

Schedule: Contingent / No weekends

Shift: 8a-430p

Supports endoscopic procedures by preparing the equipment, field and managing specimens. Responsibilities: Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate
