Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support procedures in the endoscopic setting. Under supervision, you will help set up the operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, and ensure availability of instruments and supplies for the team.

Required credentials include an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or related field; 1-2 years endoscopy/surgery experience; BLS certification; and strong communication and attention to

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or related field required.
• Experience can substitute for degree.
• BLS certification preferred; CGRN or LNA may be beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopy/surgery operations under supervision.
• Set up the operating room and prepare/transport patients for surgery.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants; adjust lights/equipment.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments during endoscopy procedures.
