Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Surgical Tech Endoscopy to support procedures in the operating room at Mass General Hospital in Boston. The role focuses on OR preparation, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team during GI endoscopy procedures.

The position is onsite with rotating shifts, 40 hours per week, including one weekend every 6 weeks and one holiday per year. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses and Credentials: BLS preferred, CST NBSTSA preferred, Dental Assistant license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with positioning.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument counts.
• Document surgical procedures and counts.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses in the OR.
• Assist in preparing the surgical site and managing drains/catheters.
