Job summary

Responsibilities

• Care for patients as delegated by the RN and complete basic care tasks.
• Reprocesses endoscopes per infection control guidelines.
• Assist physicians and RNs during Endoscopy procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, Biopsies, PEG, ERCP, EUS).
• Prepare equipment and rooms, stock Pyxis as needed.
• Record cleaning/testing of equipment and supplies.
• Transport patients and report any concerns to the nurse.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices.
