Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a GI Tech to assist in endoscopic procedures and patient care under RN supervision. You will prep patients, handle video equipment, perform EKGs, and support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent and active GTS SGNA training, with strong English communication skills and readiness for irregular hours. Benefits include family-friendly policies and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English effectively.
• Knowledgeable about gastroenterology practice issues.
• Ability to perform under high-stress conditions and in demanding environments.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including call hours.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes and troubleshoots video system equipment as needed.
• Assists in preparing patients for procedures under RN direction.
• Performs EKGs and age-appropriate patient care under supervision.
• Operates instrument washers and maintains decontamination records.
