Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to join our team. We value collaboration, growth, and consistent hours across a Monday–Friday schedule.

Formación

• 1+ years of GI experience preferred.
• Associates Degree or medical assisting and/or prior technician experience.
• Commitment to building strong working relationships with the healthcare team.
• Motivated, energetic and eager to learn.
• Experience in healthcare, preferably same-day surgery.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a safe environment for patients and prevent injuries.
• Investigate and report issues to Nurse Manager and document information.
• Assess patient needs and provide supportive care before, during, and after procedures; maintain records.
• Maintain and disinfect endoscopy equipment; operate monitoring equipment; manage inventory.
• Maintain flexibility and perform other duties as required.
• Work within legal limits of technical practice and report limitations.
• Participate in QI, Materials Management, Safety and Infection Control programs.
• Communicate pertinent information to coworkers.
