Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is hiring a GI Technician for the West Palm Beach OR on the Day Shift (40 hours per week). The role prepares procedure rooms, ensures equipment availability for endoscopic procedures, and maintains a safe, compliant environment under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; current BLS certification.
• SGNA Advanced Associates Program within the first year is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up procedure rooms in an organized, timely manner with required supplies and equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain orderly, safe procedure rooms and unit.
• Maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic environment and secure belongings.
• Provide direct patient care and support endoscopic team intra-procedurally.
• Escort patients and specimens safely and assist with patient flow to/from procedure rooms.
