Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital seeks a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join the Endoscopy/Surgical Services team. You will support high-quality patient care under RN supervision, handling and disinfecting endoscopes, transporting patients, and preparing supplies for procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with ERCP, EUS/EBUS, GI bleeds, and related interventions, as well as pulmonary procedures. A HS diploma and BLS are required, with GI Tech certification due within one year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification required.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) Certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Endoscopy/Surgical Services staff to provide high-quality patient care.
• Learn coordination, handling and disinfection of the endoscope.
• Support basic patient care including transporting, lifting, and moving patients.
• Assist with diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, EUS/EBUS, GI bleeds, stenting etc.
• Support pulmonary procedures such as bronchial lavage and navigational bronchoscopy.
