Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Endoscopy Technician for the Day shift to support Endoscopy patients and procedures. You will ensure clean, stocked supplies and troubleshoot equipment as needed, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of direct patient care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within one week of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists patients, visitors and families in a professional and helpful manner.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and manages supplies.
• Schedules patient procedures and coordinates with EVS and Facilities Management.
• Ensures patient safety through proper identification and directions.
• Transports patients, specimens, medications, supplies, and medical records as needed.
• Checks daily that the procedure room is prepared with equipment ready for use.
• Operates and adjusts endoscopy equipment and assists with specimen collection.
