Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join the team in a full-time role. The technician assists with endoscopy procedures, handles endoscopes, and supports patient transport and care under RN supervision.

You will disinfect equipment, manage supply inventory, and ensure safety and compliance throughout the procedure rooms. Required are a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and GI Tech certification within one year of hire; the role requires physical stamina and the ability

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; GI Tech certification within one year.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification required.
• Ability to learn and use hospital-specific software and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Endoscopy/Surgical Services staff to maintain a high-quality patient care environment.
• Handle and disinfect endoscopes; transport and position patients as needed.
• Support procedures such as ERCP, EUS/EBUS, stenting and biopsies.
• Maintain supplies and restock; ensure equipment is ready and safe for use.
• Coordinate scope inventory/repair and participate in in-services.
