Penn Medicine is seeking a Procedural Technician to support non-sterile and sterile procedures within the operating room. The role requires scrubbing, aseptic technique, and instrument knowledge to facilitate invasive or diagnostic procedures.

Minimum five years of OR experience and Surgical Technologist certification are required, along with Basic Life Support. This full-time position includes weekend and weekday 12-hour shifts, with comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance programs.

Formación

• Surgical Technologist (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• BLS certification
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience
• Five (5) or more years of Operating Room experience

Responsabilidades

• Maintains competency to scrub procedures: aseptic and sterile technique; universal precautions.
• Works under direct supervision of procedural team within scope of practice.
• Applies age-specific knowledge and skills for patient populations served within department.
• Consults and collaborates with colleagues to improve patient care quality and efficiency.
