Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Mass General Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech Endoscopy to support GI Endoscopy and maintain sterile OR environments in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare the OR, assist surgeons, transport patients, pass instruments, and ensure infection control while collaborating with nurses and anesthesia staff. The position is onsite in Boston, offering a 40-hour schedule with rotating shifts and benefit opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation and sterile techniques.
• Familiarity with surgical equipment used in the operating room.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of infection control protocols and patient safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with positioning.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures.
• Follow sterilization techniques to ensure cleanliness of instruments and supplies.
• Maintain documentation of surgical procedures and counts.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists and the team.
