Job summary

Montage Health in Monterey, CA seeks a per diem Endoscopy Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within Surgical Services. You will prepare patients for procedures, assist and circulate in endoscopy, reprocess GI scopes, and monitor recovery post-procedure patients. Must be able to take call and report within 45 minutes.

The role emphasizes quality care, teamwork, safety, and strong communication with patients and staff. California RN license and BLS required, ACLS/PALS desirable.

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within two years of start date.
• Endoscopy experience preferred; telemetry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for endoscopy procedures.
• Assisting in endoscopy procedures and circulating.
• Reprocessing GI scopes to ensure sterility.
• Monitoring and recovering post-procedure patients.
• On-call ability and report to the hospital within 45 minutes.
