Job summary

Ocean State Endoscopy Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. The RN ensures efficient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while interacting with patients and the health care team.

Requirements include RI Nursing license, ACLS and PALS, and 1–3 years of Medical/Surgical experience with endoscopy, pre-op, and PACU skills. Per diem, Monday–Friday, flexible hours; no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• RI nursing license required.
• ACLS and PALS certification.
• 1–3 years of Medical/Surgical RN experience preferred.
• Endoscopy pre-op, PACU, and endoscopy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of patient care delivery systems, standards, and procedures.
• Administers medications following age-specific standards and guidelines.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care team to educate patients and families.
• Contributes to performance improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
