Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the Endoscopy Lab in College Station, TX. This full-time position requires day shift hours and an on-call component to cover gaps with a 30-minute response time.

The role focuses on supervising healthcare professionals, maintaining high patient care standards, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across multiple professional fields to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Assess effectiveness of nursing practices and integrate evidence-based care into daily operations.
• Foster a caring and outcome-focused environment for patients and families.
• Encourage staff development and growth opportunities within the department.
• Efficiently manage resources to maintain safety and quality in the Endoscopy Lab.

Facility: Baylor Scott and White Hospital- College Station, TX

Department: Endoscopy Lab

Shift/Status: Full Time, 40 hrs/wk

Schedule: Day Shift (7:30 - 16:00), On Call schedule

Call Requirement: As need for gap coverage, 30 minute response time

Endoscopy Lab Specific

Patient Population: All endoscopy patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures.

# of beds: 3 GI Suits, 9pre/post rooms

Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -Registered Nurse (RN)
