Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, TX is hiring a Procedural Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy; PreOp, PostOp department. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver nursing care in a state-of-the-art facility opening soon.

The role requires an RN with Endoscopy experience, BLS, and the ability to be onsite, Monday–Friday days with on-call shifts. You will work within Texas nursing guidelines and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN Endoscopy experience.
• Accredited nursing program or two years minimum for this position.
• Major focus or specialization in Nursing.
• Ideally some relevant professional experience, though less than one year could suffice.
• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within thirty days of hire or transfer.

Location: Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway

Department: Endoscopy; PreOp, PostOp

Shift: FT Days, 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; 7 call shifts a month. Need to be onsite within 30 minutes of call.

Our new facility, spanning 340,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art facility, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. Among its highlights, the facility will house crucial departments such as emergency, inpatient, procedural, and women and children.

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.

• As a Procedural Registered Nurse, use careful clinical judgment. Assess patients and prioritize their needs. Create and adjust care plans for better results.

• You will assess your nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness. This may involve tracking indicators, making changes based on research, and joining quality improvement initiatives.

• You'll help teach patients and staff. Education will be integrated into care at all levels.

• In systems thinking, you will use strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
