Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a PRN Endoscopy RN to support GI procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, starting IV access, moderate sedation administration and monitoring, and intra-/post-procedure patient care.

You will document care in the EMR, ensure safety and infection control, and collaborate with the endoscopy team to optimize patient readiness for discharge.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to patient changes.
• Competence in sedation monitoring, airway vigilance, and peri-procedural care.
• Excellent attention to detail, safety-focused practice, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-procedure assessments
• Start and manage IV access
• Administer, monitor, and support moderate sedation
• Provide intra-procedure monitoring of vitals, airway, and patient response
• Oversee post-procedure recovery and ensure patient readiness for discharge
• Deliver discharge teaching and instructions
• Document all care accurately in the EMR
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and endoscopy staff
