Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an Endoscopy RN to provide primary nursing support in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. The role focuses on patient education, adherence to treatment plans, and teamwork to deliver high-quality care.

The position covers Pre OP, Post OP, circulator, tech and scope processing with 40 hours weekly and rotating start times. Endoscopy experience is preferred; ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy RN experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• RN licensure and appropriate nursing credentials.

Responsibilities

• Triages patient sick calls to facilitate appropriate treatment with providers.
• Obtains and documents medical history, vital signs, and prepares patient for examinations.
• Oversees chart checks ensuring completed testing is available for provider visit.
• Assists providers in procedures to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens with accuracy.
