Job summary

Geisinger in Scranton, PA seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide primary nursing support in the Endoscopy suite. You’ll assist physicians, educate patients, and participate in pre- and post-procedure care as part of a collaborative team.

This full-time role offers a union environment with rotating shifts (two 12-hour and two 8-hour days), potential on-call duties, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Active RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient needs and assist with procedures.
• Educate patients on medications and procedures.
• Assist physicians and ensure sterile technique.
• Prepare and handle specimens and equipment as needed.
• Support day-to-day clinic activity and patient flow.
