Job summary

IU Health is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to support pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure cardiac and GI patient care. The Endoscopy unit serves pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires RN licensure in Indiana or an NLC, BLS certification, and either ASN or BSN with acute care experience. Full-time, dayshift with on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per unit.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure (scrub & circulator), and post-procedure recovery nursing care.
• Support endoscopy unit for pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, anesthesia RNs, and OR staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Care for GI procedures, bronchoscopies, mobility and pain management as needed.
