Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certification as required or preferred by department.
• CNOR (preferred, not required).
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery from a broad perspective and support a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care with discharge instructions.
