Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy to provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care within a surgical team. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning and safe operation of the perioperative environment.

Applicants should hold an accredited nursing degree (Associates or Bachelors) and a current RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred, with CNOR and SGNA backgrounds favored.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status using strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Determine priority of patient’s problems and needs.
• Implement perioperative nursing interventions for acute patients.
• Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and assist in OR.
