Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support patients through the full endoscopy care continuum, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI.

The role is per diem, 2-3 days per week, with responsibilities for patient advocacy, nursing care planning, and collaboration with the health team to ensure optimal outcomes and safety. Must hold RI RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience and nursing care coordination.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing and endoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and reports deviations from patient norms.
• Documents nursing interventions and patient responses to treatment.
• Provides basic comfort and supports patient and family participation in care.
