Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a per diem RN for our Endoscopy Department. The RN is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of patient care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.

Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care, and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Assists with the management needs of Nursing Unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.
• Ensure effective use of available resources and maintain established standards of care while meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay.
• Assist with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.
