Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse per diem to provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit. The RN will perform pre-procedure and post-procedure care, monitor patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, and support IV Conscious Sedation as required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Must have IV placement skills.
• Must have endoscopy procedure room experience with IV Conscious Sedation (IVCS).
• Experience caring for patients around endoscopy procedures in last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopy patients.
• Monitor and support IV Conscious Sedation and patient status during procedures.
• Collaborate with the endoscopy team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
