Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time RN for our Surgery Department. The RN is responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.

Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the daily care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.
• Ensure effective use of available resources, maintain standards of care, and meet outcomes within appropriate length of stay.
• Assist with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.
