Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Gastrointestinal Services department at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. The role involves preparation and recovery of patients undergoing endoscopy and minor procedures, with ACLS and BLS required.

Position features 8-hour shifts, 20 hours per week, and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Minimum qualifications include an RN license and a BSN preferred, with 1 year of clinical nursing experience commonly required.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Critical Care/Telemetry or Outpatient procedure experience preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Possibly float to other units to meet patient care needs.
