Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team. Provides nursing care for endoscopic and ophthalmic procedures, administers pre-procedure meds, starts IVs, and educates patients and families.

During recovery, monitors vital signs, manages pain, ensures safety, and coordinates with the care team to discharge patients home. Requires Idaho licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Idaho LPN or RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for endoscopic and ophthalmic procedures.
• Start and monitor IVs; administer pre-procedure medications.
• Deliver pre-procedure instruction and explain patient rights.
• Monitor vital signs during recovery and discharge planning.
• Educate patient and family; ensure safety until discharge and transfer of care.
