Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy to join a hospital-based endoscopy unit in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule entails 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM start times may flex). The role requires active AZ or compact RN license, BLS, and preferably ACLS with endoscopy experience; weekend/holiday/on-call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Active registered nursing license valid in Arizona or compact license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) mandatory.
• ACLS certification – preferred or required depending on unit.
• Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong patient care, monitoring and critical thinking skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians with colonoscopies, EGDs, and other GI interventions.
• Monitor patients under moderate sedation and ensure safety.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment and instruments.
• Document patient assessments and post-procedure recovery care.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy to join a hospital-based endoscopy unit in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for nurses with strong procedural experience who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are comfortable assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week

Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30PM (start times may flex based on department needs)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians with procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and other GI interventions
• Monitor patients under moderate sedation and ensure safety throughout procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and instruments
• Perform patient assessments, documentation, and post-procedure recovery care
• Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Requirements
